Produced by Chris Lord-Alge and released in August 1989, Matchbook spent three consecutive weeks at #1, staying in the Top 10 for a staggering 14 weeks and went on to sell in excess of Double Platinum. The DVD of the Matchbook Concert Tour went Gold on the day of release. This landmark album included songs penned not only by Mossy, but also by Chisel bandmate Don Walker and included Steve Prestwich on drums along with a whos who of Australian musicians.
