The original, heritage listed building also remains, housing the TAB and sports bar on its lower level with the Satellite Lounge taking residence upstairs. The Wheelers Hill Hotel offers all the facilities you would expect from a fantastic, local hotel including delicious food and an expansive selection of beverages. Historical Facts about Wheelers Hill Hotel

Wheelers Hill was named after the Wheeler brothers, John and Bartholomew, who were early settlers in the area. The Hotel was a post office and stopping point for farmers before a 6 to 8 hour drive to the city by horse to sell their goods. The Post Office opened on 1 January 1869 but was called Mulgrave until 1888. It was the year 1923 that the existing Wheelers Hill Hotel signage was established.
