Disturbing the Peace pays tribute to the impact and legacy of Vanda & Young and ‘Albert Productions’ headed by Ted Albert. Some of the solo artists and bands that were identified & nurtured by Alberts include The Easybeats, John Paul Young, Stevie Wright, Cheetah, The Angels, Rose Tattoo, AC/DC and many more.

‘Disturbing The Peace’ have put together an exciting and high energy show honouring the contribution of Vanda & Young and the iconic production, publishing & recording company – ‘Alberts Productions’ made to the Australian music scene.

What an era of craziness, culture change, madness and great music. The Vietnam War, Flower Power, Sunbury, Gough Whitlam’s Labor Party surge to power on the back of the ‘It’s Time’ campaign, Countdown & Beer Barn Pub Rock. The ‘Alberts Sound’ was everywhere through it all and is no doubt a huge part of the ‘Soundtrack of the Australian Suburbs’.
