FAQ’s

HOW CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS TO SHOWS?

Most shows are pre sold through the Satellite Lounge website www.satellitelounge.com.au. Tickets can be printed out at time of purchase and taken to the show to be checked at the door. We do also accept tickets shown via your phone’s email program, otherwise photo identification must be shown. Bookings for shows can also be made on a limited basis through the venue by telephone on 0402 306 141 Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the day/night of the show (only if still available).

CAN I REFUND/EXCHANGE MY TICKETS?

We ask that you carefully choose the show (and day/night) you are booking tickets for as there are no refunds or ticket exchanges available once payment has been made unless a show is postponed or cancelled. Full ticketing terms and conditions can be found here.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISPLACE MY TICKETS OR I AM UNABLE TO PRINT THEM OUT?

If by chance you happen to misplace your tickets, please email us at info@satellitelounge.com.au and we will re-send a confirmation to you. Please note, we will have you listed on our booking report so long as you are able to provide valid ID you will have no problem gaining admittance to the show. This also applies to those who are unable to print their tickets for any reason.

WHAT ARE THE BOOKINGS FEES FOR TICKETING?

Booking fees are charged by our online ticketing provider to cover admin costs and are not refundable. The current charge is $1.50 per ticket. Please also note that any pre-sale bookings handled directly by staff over the phone will incur a $6.00 service fee per transaction.

ARE SHOWS AT THE SATELLITE LOUNGE SEATED OR STANDING?

Most performances will have a seating allocation (usually pre-booked) as well as a standing only area.

HOW CAN I RESERVE A SEAT?

For performances where there is an allocated seating component you can book online through the Satellite Lounge website. The allocation of tables and chairs will be based on a first come first served basis, i.e. those that book first will get tables closest to the stage. On arrival at the venue you will be allocated a table number once you present your ticket at the door.
A Reserve & B Reserve Seating
For some shows we offer a 2 tiered pricing structure for allocated seats, billed as A Reserve and B Reserve seating. The A Reserve seats will be situated at the front of the room closest to the stage and in front of the mixing desk. The B Reserve seats will be situated behind the A Reserve section and will be offered at a discount price (usually $5 – $10 cheaper).

For more information on our allocated seating policy please see here.

CAN I COMBINE MY TABLE BOOKING WITH ANOTHER PARTY WHO HAS MADE A SEPARATE BOOKING?

In most instances this is quite possible, but not always guaranteed. During the order process, you have the option to leave us an order note regarding any special requests. You can also email info@satellitelounge.com.au with your request as early as possible prior to the day of the show and we will do our best to accommodate you. For large group bookings please see How to make a Group Booking for a Satellite Lounge Event.

WHAT ARE THE NORMAL SHOW RUNNING TIMES?

For most evening shows doors open at 6.00pm (Seats / Dining) & 8:00pm (Standing Area). For Friday, Saturday & Public Holiday eve shows support acts will be on stage at 8:40pm and the headline act will be on stage at 9:40pm. On other nights (Sun – Thu) support act goes on at 8:30pm and headline act at 9:30pm. For Sunday afternoon shows doors open at 3:00pm and music generally commences at 3:40pm. Please check the website for scheduled playing times for each show as times can vary depending upon the individual artists and the number of acts on the bill.

IS THERE A DANCE FLOOR?

Due to the layout of the room it is not possible for us to have a dance floor set up for all shows as this can impact upon patrons who have paid a premium for seated tickets and expect to have an unimpeded view of the stage. However we consider each show on a case by case basis and make decisions on whether or not to have a dance floor after taking into account the perceived demand for one as well as prices for seated tickets. If a decision is made to include a dance floor in the room set up it will be advertised on the website.

The final authority to allow or not allow such recording devices on the night rests with the artists performing and not the venue.
